5-foot-9; 160-pound middle infielder. Lean, compact frame with slight projection. At the dish, balanced, athletic stance with small leg kick. Generates good bat speed (Max: 71.1 mph; Avg: 67.1 mph via Blast) and some sneaky power for frame with exit velos up 87.5 & max distance 331 ft. via Trackman. Overall, solid contributor offensively with steady diet of line drives and mix of doubles into the gaps. Up the middle, Jenkins possess great glove skills and quick, smooth transfers. Solid arm and improving runner but chance to stay at SS based on projection of development. Quite savvy style of play, noted Jenkins making several quick tags to pin some base stealers at Lakepoint this summer. An intriguing young middle infielder to follow.
