10/21/17 - Max FB: 88, FB: 83-87, CB: 69-72
5-foot-11, 170-pound, RHP featured lightning quick arm, allowing him to strikeout 4 in 2 innings.  Medium, athletic frame w/ present lower half strength, lot of projection remaining.  Pitches from a full wind-up w/ short rocker step into plant foot.  Leg kick into leg drive w/ H ¾ release and proper finish.  Gathers at leg kick to ensure direction to the plate.  Repeated better on this day.  Lightning quick arm still learning to consistently use legs.  FB w/ arm side run and sink.  Tough to elevate when pitching down in the zone.  Medium downer CB flashes proper rotation, shape.  Early breaker at times.  Flashes above average w/ late break.  Generated 20 % swing and miss rate (3 of 15) while pumping strikes (22 of 35).  Projects to fill the zone as delivery gets more repeatable with reps.  Impact 2-way prospect in the 2019 class.

10/21/17 - Home-1st: 4.68, Position Velocity:  IF-87, Exit Velocity: 90

5-foot-11, 170-pound, RHH delivered the lone extra base hit for Team Tennessee, a double down the LF line, to go with a strong overall day, where he was 2-5 w/ no swing and miss on 6 swings.  Medium, athletic frame w/ present lower half strength, lot of projection remaining.  Offensively, hits from an open, slightly crouched stance w/ back ear hand location.  Bat waggler.  Knee to knee to slightly open w/ proper load.  Quick to the ball w/ no wasted movement.  Generates bat speed through the zone.  Balanced w/ gap power, developing pull HR power.  Average runner is above average once underway.  Glider.  True SS w/ soft hands, good feet.  Plus arm strength w/ carry through target.  Was not tested in game.  A high level two-way prospect in the 2019 class.

10/1/17 - Max FB: 90, FB: 86-89, CB: 66-69, SL: 72
5'11, 160-pound, RHP shows premium arm strength w/ developing off-speed pitches.  Medium, athletic build w/ some present strength, projection.  Pitches from a full wind-up w/ short step towards 1st base side w/ set up on the first base side of the rubber.  Chest high leg kick w/ hip turn into leg drive into L ¾ release.  Clean, repeatable mechanics w/ super quick arm.  Straight FB shows occasional cut.  Medium downer CB w/ proper rotation, shape.  SL shows ¾ tilt w/ proper shape, late break.  DNS CH.

10/1/17 - 60 Time: 7.19, Position Velocity:  IF - 85
5'11, 160-pound, RHH shows intriguing mix of tools w/ chance for 5 offensive tools.  Medium, athletic build w/ some present strength, projection.  Hits w/ a slightly open, straight up stance w/ back shoulder hand location.  Knee to knee w/ proper load.  Generates bat speed through the zone.  Gap to gap type w/ backspin ability.  When swing is synced with lower half, generates power.  Defensively, shows true SS ability w/ arm strength w/ carry through target, good release and soft hands.  High impact uncommitted 2019.

6/13/17 - H-1B: 4.35, Position Velocity: 80, Exit Velocity: 87
5’11, 160-pound, RHH hits from a balanced and slightly open stance with looseness that tries to create a little rhythm at the start.  Washington uses a short and early stride to get loaded, but comes to a near pause just before starting the swing, causing him to get stuck on occasion.  Strength and quickness in his hands helps get through the ball and provide a little extra pop through his extension.  Washington likes to pepper the middle of the field, but could really generate some serious bat speed with power potential in the future.  Defensively, he stays very much under control and plays through the ball with consistency.  His hands and feet work well together and could turn some heads if he learns to get a little more aggressive while maintaining the control he currently holds.  Washington finished 1-3 with a walk in game play.

6/13/17 - Max FB: 85, FB: 82-85, CB: 67-68, CH: 70,
5-foot-11, 160-pound, RHP has a very athletic and projectable frame that is already strong but leaves plenty of room for growth.  Washington moves pretty slowly throughout his motion, but uses a long and loose arm action to produce a heavy fastball that can bear down on righties from time to time.  He gets down the mound and showed a curveball with 11/5 to 10/4 shape.  With the combination of frame and athleticism he possesses, additional velo could come very quickly.
