College coaches are always looking for guys that can log innings out of the bullpen, and RHP Austin Adair (Hendrickson HS) is going to be a quality get for someone. The sub-mariner pitches angry with a heavy, bowling ball fastball that starts about thigh-high then darts down below the knees late at 75-77 mph. Showed good feel for the slider at 65-67, which is more of a slurve with situp lateral shape, but it gives him a viable secondary pitch that moves opposite of his fastball. Competitive kid, was not happy when he tried to go in on a left-handed hitter and put him on with an HBP.
