Very athletic at 5-foot-10, 150-pounds, McBride showed a quick 7.15 60-yard dash, had really good pop from the rigth side of the plate, and recorded an 86 mph exit velocity. Quick actions in the field, clean transfers, easy arm from multiple slots, good feel for on-the-run actions. 84 mph across the field.

5-foot-10, 150-pounds. The right-handed hitter has loose hands that whip the barrel through zone with a short path and strong top hand to produce an exit velocity of 84 mph. Uses a leg kick load with rythm as he hitches his hands down and back, creating separation and leverage. On the infield, he plays through the ball with quickish footwork and does a nice job of fielding the ball left-of-center. Soft hands, clean exchange, threw 80 mph across the infield.
