Texas State commit. One of the top arms in the 2022 class continues to develop each time we see him. Going just one inning and striking out the side, Mora sat 91-92 mph commanding his fastball to the glove-side, 75-81 mph on his curveball with sharp action, and flashed a changeup at 87 mph.
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 6-foot, 150 pounds.
Hit: RH. Balanced stance, narrow base, leg kick load trigger, takes hands down slightly to trigger swing, slightly uphill swing plane, middle of the field to pull side approach hitting mainly line drives.
Power: 87.90 mph max exit velocity in BP, 74.01 mph average exit velocity, 316 feet max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 90 mph. Short arm action, 3/4 slot, accurate throws, good carry.
Defense: Quick footwork getting to the ball, good hands with a clean funnel to release, feet keep moving through the throw.
Run: 7.11 runner in the 60.
