2019 RHP Evan Vanek (Frisco Heritage HS) is another long-limbed, projectable arm with plenty of room to add strength to his wiry 6-foot-3, 165-pound frame. The Texas A&M commit works from a low-¾ slot with a long arm stroke and quick hand out front, creating a ton of arm side run on his fastball at 89-92 in the first inning. He did touch 93 during warm ups and settled in at 88-90 in the second inning. His slider has short lateral 10/4 shape 74-77 mph, and gives him a nice repertoire of two pitches moving in different directions.
