6-30-2018: 6-foot, 155 pound, lean athletic frame with lots of projection remaining. Has a lot of room to get stronger and will need to get stronger to play at the next level. Similar body type to, Seattle Mariners second baseman, Dee Gordon. Offensively, Cash is a switch hitter who can drive the ball to all fields. Has a line drive swing with some sneaky pop which I witnessed during batting practice. Very quick hands and excellent bat speed. The stronger he gets, the better hitter he will become. Above average runner underway. Ran a 4.3 down the line. Defensively, he has quick feet and very good range. Can play 3rd, SS and 2B, I see him sticking at second due to his arm strength which is just average. Fields with soft hands. Outstanding athlete. Was a very good football player in high school. Seventh all-time in passing yards and passing touchdowns in Texas high school history. Very good baseball instincts and plays with a lot of energy. Overall, Ryan is very athletic and has a chance to hit, but needs to get stronger and fill out to be able to play at the next level. (Joe Pera)
