Projectable 6-foot-7, 205-pound high waisted frame. O’Donnell filled the strike zone with his three-pitch mix. His fastball had downward tilt and sat at 82-83 mph from an over-the-top arm slot, his breaking ball has a 10/4 shape and was in the 68-72 mph range, and he worked down in the strike zone with his changeup at 73-74 mph. He has a slow and smooth windup with balance during a high leg lift, and has some effort involved in the delivery. He had similar arm speed on each pitch, and his length allows him to get down the mound with extension and downward tilt to the plate.

His fastball sat 79-81 mph with slight arm side run. Threw his curveball for a strike with 11/5 shape at 68-70 mph. Throws his changeup with fastball arm speed and arm side fade at 74 mph.

O'Donnell has a high ceiling and projectable frame at 6-foot-6, 207-pounds with long-limbs and a high-waist. On the mound, the right-hander works from high-¾ slot with a long arm stroke. Smooth rhythm, drop-and-drive, directional delivery, lands closed with an athletic finish. Slight reach out of the glove, arm works well from back to front, fastball was mostly straight at 78-81 mph. Missed arm side with his curveball at 68-69 mph with 11/5 shape. Changeup has sink and fade at 67-68 mph.

A right-handed hitter, O'Donnell starts from a tall stance, loads back as he crouches into leg kick while his hands trigger back. Aggressive swing, level path, quick-strong hands, above average bat speed (90 mph) for his class, rotational finish. At first base, O'Donnell has quick footwork with a bounce in his step, plays through the ball with average hands. Threw 75 mph across the infield and ran a 7.25 60-yard dash.
