6-foot-one 180-pound frame, 60 yard dash equipped 6.76. Right handed swing was an exit velocity of 85 mph, stance is quiet along with hands allows barrel to stay flat through the zone. OF Work showed 85 mph throws with a clean arm.

Valasek has a projectable, lean-strong frame at 6-foot-1, 175-pounds. Started the day with a 6.76 60-yard dash, then the right-handed hitter starts from a grounded stance with his weight centered and relaxed hands. Smooth load back as he triggers his hands, takes a short stride, then works on a slightly uphill plane as he rotates to contact and whips the barrel through the zone. Hard contact during BP with natural lift and simple strength. In the outfield, he has quick footwork and a fast exchange, getting rid of the ball from a high slot with a loose arm swing and top velocity of 81 mph.

The right-handed hitter has quick hands that whip the barrel through the zone, creating line drives through the middle of the field on an inside-out, short path. Plays aggressive in the outfield and plays through the ball with athletic footwork, clean exchange and throws with carry at 84 mph. Hosed a runner at the dish during the game and ran a 6.86 60-yard dash.

Long-levered projectable frame with room to continue to add strength, wide shoulders, 6-foot, 170-pounds. Valasek started the BP round with late timing, but made a great adjustment and got on time and found consistent barrels with a smooth swing, posted 82 mph exit velo off the tee. The right-handed hitter has an athletic stance with strength in his legs, has a small smooth load back, gets barrel turn in his load with loose hands, takes a short controlled stride with balance which minimizes his head movement, has quick-twitch in his hips, has more quick-twitch in his hands, his barrel is flat through the zone with extension, and he has a loose finish. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. He stays low through the play in the outfield and made low accurate throws through the cutoff man to the dish at 80 mph.

At 6-foot, 170 pounds, Valasek has an already athletic, long-limbed frame that should allow him to add strength as he continues to develop. The right-hander works from a high-¾ slot with a clean, whip-like arm stroke. Smooth delivery with good tempo down the mound, allows him to repeat his release point consistently. Showed the ability to locate his fastball in the zone to both sides of the plate at 75-77 mph. Has good feel for a 12/6 curveball that located consistently for strikes - including quality missed below the zone at 65-67 mph. Threw his changeup for a strike with good arm speed at 66-68 mph.
