A projectable, athletic frame at 6-foot-3, 178-pounds, Allen has shown tools both in the field and at the plate could translate into elite levels as he continues to mature, already clocking a 7.01 60-yard dash. Showed quick-twitch actions with hands and feet with slight disconnection into approach and reception of the ball in the field and was max effort with throws across the diamond. There is a lot of upside in the swing, which has previously recorded exit velocities off the tee over 100 mph. Some length in the swing with exceptional bat speed and late explosiveness into contact.
