Top Prospect Games East

Fischer is 6-1 with an athletic frame that still has projection left to it. He throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a short free quick arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are closed and uphill, lands on line with an athletic finish. Fastball 83-85, touching 86 with some run to the armside. Curveball had good armspeed and sharp 1/7 break to it. Showed command of the zone.

Fischer has an athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He throws from a higher three-quarters arm slot with a short, free arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are closed and level, lands slightly closed, classic lefty crossfire look aside from the higher slot. Finishes in an athletic position. Fastball was 78-83, touching 84, pitch had some late two-plane action, a bit of run and sink. Mostly worked the higher part of the zone with his fastball, battled command early and did a good job of keeping his team in the game until he found it. Later in game was able to move fastball in and out. Curveball had some armspeed and sharp 1/7 break. Primarily uses it to backdoor righties or away from lefties, did not try to throw it back foot to a righty. Fischer has some pitchability and some projection left as he continues to develop and remains an arm to keep tabs on.

Fischer has an athletic frame. Throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, draws back long, then shortens up his arm action, free arm with normal effort. Shoulders closed and uphill, swings into an open landing with a slight fall off finish. Fastball was 76-79, flashed an 82 once, good angle on pitch and had some sink to it. Showed a sharp curveball that was 66-68 with 10/4 break and some armspeed.
