Curveball had sharp 2/8 break and good armspeed, running 65-66. Change-up faded with good armspeed, running 73-75. Slider had late 2/8 break and was 68-70. Showed good command of all pitches and good pitchability.
11.1.15: Buckley is a lanky, athletic lefty who has a smooth drop and drive delivery and throws from a three-quarters arm slot. He has a long arm action and a quick arm that generates velocity with normal effort. His shoulders are closed and slightly uphill as he strides out on line and screws into a square landing before falling off as he finishes. Buckley’s fastball sat 76-77 and touched 78 and had some late run to it. His curveball had sharp 1/7 break and was thrown with good armspeed, running 62-64. His changeup was also thrown with decent armspeed and had a bit of arm side run to it, sitting 67-68.

9.23.15:  Buckley is an athletic lefty who throws primarily from a low three-quarters arm slot. He has a smooth drop and drive delivery and a short, quick arm that generates easy velocity. His shoulders are online and level as he strides out to a square landing, finishing in an athletic position. His fastball was 72-76 on the day.
