8.9.17:  Settle is 6-2 with an athletic frame, hits from the right side from a crouched athletic stance. Big leg kick stride, loads back. Explosive hips and some balance to his swing. Short to ball, slightly uphill path with some extension through it, mostly worked gap to gap with some pull tendency, exit velocity was 84. At first, gets behind the ball and fields with a wide base and average hands. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 63.
2.18.17:  Settle is 6-2 and has an athletic frame, hits from the right side from an open stance. Leg kick stride open, loads back into a wrap. Hips explode and some balance to swing. Short level swing with extension through the ball, good approach using the middle of the field, exit velocity was 84. At first, good footwork, fields ball with a wide base, average hands. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 70.

7/31/14:  6-foot-0, 190 pound, 1B/RHP, throws from a high three-quarters slot with a long backside action and lands slightly open. Settle’s fastball was 66-70 with command. He threw an 11/5 curveball that ran 59-62 with good arm speed. Settle also threw a change-up that ran 64-66 with full arm speed and fading action that he commanded well.  At the plate, Settle showed an athletic stance with a small load and line-drive approach.  He was very short to the ball and have great extension.  Showed a very good top hand through the baseball.  Has the potential to hit for above average power.  In the field, Settle was fundamentally sound.  At times he collapsed when approaching ground balls.  He had very soft hands and a long loose arm action.  Didn't consistently get his feet in the correct position to make throws but was still accurate and quick.
