8.10.16: Floyd is 6-3 and has a lanky frame, throwing from a three-quarters arm slot with a smooth drop and drive delivery. Short, loose arm action that is quick and generates velocity with normal effort. Shoulders slightly uphill and closed as he strides to an open landing with an athletic finish with slight fall off. Fastball sat 84-85, touching 87 with late run. Sharp 11/5 curveball with good armspeed ran 71-73. Slider had sharp 11/5 break at 72. Very good command of all pitches.
