8.10.16: Diehr has a lankier 6-4 frame and throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a smooth drop and drive delivery. Long, loose arm action that is quick with normal effort. Shoulders slightly uphill and closed, lands open with an athletic finish and recoil. Fastball sat 81-82, touched 83, with late run. True 10/4 slider with late bite and good armspeed, ran 74-75. Sharp 11/5 curveball was 71-72. Good armspeed on a running change-up, 72-73. Good command of all four pitches, knows how to pitch.
