Vick is 5-10 with an athletic 170 pound frame that has strength present. He hits from the left side from a leaned back balanced athletic stance, two tap stride in place, loads in place. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with some strength at contact and extension through the ball, showed a good approach working primarily gap to gap, swing generates some power in the gaps, ball carries there off his bat, exit velocity was 90. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with above average hands, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 75. Ran a 7.63 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from multiple slots, primarily either a very high three-quarters or just above sidearm. Very short loose arm action with some effort to his delivery. Some crossfire in his delivery, shoulders uphill from his higher slot and closed, lands closed with a fall off finish. Fastball was 75-78 with some downward angle and a bit late armside run from his high slot. From his lower slot, pitch gets heavy armside run with depth to it. Slider was 62-64 with some armspeed and late downer 1/7 break to it. Change-up was 65-66 with good armspeed and some late run.
