6.4.17: Above average arm on the infield. Good hands with average range. Moves well, shows good instincts defensively. Showed the ability to make the play on the move. Aggressive approach at the plate. Good bat plane and keeps the bat head in the hitting zone most of the time. Will hit for average with gap power.

4.10.17: Grimes has an athletic frame and is quick, hitting leadoff for Hanover. Defensively he has a strong arm, showed good baserunning instincts getting a good jump on a stolen base. Quick bat with some power and a good approach using the whole field, tripled off the top of the centerfield fence in his third at-bat.

8.4.16 - Camden Grimes showed off one the second best infield velocity of the event throwing 90 mph across the diamond from third base. He showed nice lateral quickness and soft hands. Grimes ran a 7.01 60-yard dash. He has a level, slightly uphill swing path at the plate with an exit velocity of 87. 6.11.16: Grimes has an athletic frame with a strong lower half. At third base he has a strong arm and a good first step, arm action is short and loose. At the plate, he hits from the right side with good bat speed and a lot of power potential. Mostly a pull approach with gap power and potential for more. Ran a 4.29 on an infield single.

10.14.15: Hit from an open, athletic stance. Smooth load back with arm bar. Aggressive leg kick stride that gets on line and is balanced. Lower half explodes. Elite bat speed with bat exit velocity of 94 mph. Slightly long path to the ball, but explosive hands make up for it. Aggressive approach to the round. Level swing path with extension that stays through the zone. Gap to gap hitter with pull power. Max effort swing that gets the barrel through the zone exceptionally fast. Threw from a loose, high ¾ arm slot. Throws had some accuracy. Positional velocity of 80 mph. Soft hands with clean footwork that played through the ball. Showed some range with glove. Quick, clean exchanges.
