9.23.15:  Cropp has an athletic frame and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a smooth drop and drive delivery. He has a short, loose arm action and a quick arm that generates easy velocity. His shoulders are level and closed as he strides out to a slightly open landing. Cropp’s fastball ran 71-73, touching 74, and was commanded well. His curveball had sharp downer action and was thrown with good armspeed, sitting 65-66. His changeup was throw with good armspeed and had a bit of run to it, sitting 67-70.  Offensively, hit from an open stance that stood tall.  Quiet and controlled hands.  No load back. Balanced stride that gets back on line.  Comes up out legs when lower half turns.  Exit velocity of 70mph.  Short, clean bat path with extension.  Line drive hitter with gap power potential.  In the field, threw from a loose, high ¾ arm slot.  Throws were somewhat accurate.  Positional velocity of 73mph.  Good glove presentation.  Average hands.  Footwork a little stiff and rigid at times.
