Mid-Atlantic Summer Championships
Hamill is 5-10 with an athletic frame that has a lot of projection left to it. Moves well at short, shows lateral range and soft hands as well as some arm strength on his throws. At the plate, hits from the right side and has a short swing with some batspeed. We missed on videos of his swing during the weekend, but he showed doubles power with a gap-to-gap line drive swing. Also pitched in relief at the tail end of his teams 4th game on Saturday after having been at short the whole rest of the weekend, struggled with command a bit but showed his arm strength. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short very quick arm action that is loose, normal effort to his delivery. Fastball was 80-84 with some late run to it. Also showed a hard slider with good armspeed and downer break that was 73-74. Very interesting prospect as two-way player.

Hamill has a lanky athletic frame with projection left to it. At short, has quick feet and good lateral range, soft hands. Exchange is quick, smooth actions, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot and has some arm strength when he needs it. Recovered a bobble and rifled throw off balance to get his man. At the plate, drew two walks and lined out in the at-bat in the video. Relaxed setup, quick and short to the ball, level to contact with extension through it and some batspeed. Has ability to impact game on the bases as well.
