6.9.17 - Rosales stuck out for Briar Woods in their state semifinal matchup with Menchville. As one of the few non-seniors in the lineup, Rosales shows an athletic base at the plate, with a smooth load and quick hands at the plate. Gap-to-gap type hitter with bat speed. Has some room to add more, and gets the most out of his frame. smooth defender / receiver behind the dish. Soft hands, presented big target to pitcher, nice hips on balls in dirt. Quick exchange and release with carry on throws to second.

3.31.16:  Rosales has an athletic frame. Behind the plate, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, with a short, loose arm action and average arm that was very accurate. He is quick into his block and a good receiver. His pop times were 2.09-2.28. At the plate, he hits from the right side with a short, quick swing. He has a line drive approach and works gap to gap with consistent hard contact and the potential for gap power.
