8.9.17: Carden is 6-0 with a lanky frame, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a longer arm action and normal effort. Shoulders uphill and closed, swings into a slightly closed landing with an athletic finish. Fastball was 75-78 with some downward plane to it. Curveball was 66 with gradual 1/7 break and some armspeed. Showed a change-up in warm-ups that had some sink to it.
