6.23.15 Hit from a balanced/athletic stance with slightly bent knees.  Had a smooth load back with a slight arm bar/wrap.  Took a short stride that was on line.  Had an explosive lower half and had excellent balance throughout the swing.Took a good approach during the round with a simple rhythm.  Had a short, level bat path.  Got through the baseball.  Gap-to-gap swing.  Has power potential.  Strong hands and body.  Exit velocity was 83 mph. In the outfield, he threw from a high ¾ arm slot with a long and loose arm action. Throws were accurate and had carry.  Hands were average with clean exchanges.  Footwork was quick and fluid.  Exchanges were quick and clean.  Plus athlete who plays through the ball very well.  Had a positional velocity of 82 mph.

2.22.15 Hit from a balanced/athletic stance.  Had a smooth load back and a short stride.  Rhythm was stiff.  Lower half exploded to the ball, while maintaining balance.  Bat speed was fast.  Exit Velocity was 81 mph.  Had a good/solid approach during the round.  Swing path was short with good extension.  Has the makeup for a consistent line drive hitter with gap-to-gap power.  From the Outfield, he threw from a high ¾ arm slot that had some accuracy.  Hands were average with clean exchanges.  Footwork was out of rhythm at times, but did occasionally play through balls.

2.22.15 Hand has an athletic, 6-foot-2 frame. He has a choppy drop and drive delivery and throws from an over-the-top slot. He has a long, stiff arm action that generates easy velocity. His shoulders are uphill as he strides out online, landing square before falling off a bit as he finishes. Hand’s fastball has late running and sinking action and sat 72-74. He threw a gradual breaking 12/6 curveball that he kept down that ran 63-66. He also threw a sinking change-up that ran 64-70.
