Dudley was a Harford CC commit is decommitted when they had a coaching change. He is a big strong kid with a lot of juice at the plate, hit with wood and barreled the ball in each at-bat. Short to ball with a lot of strength and lot of batspeed. Did not pitch but have heard the velocity is in the upper 80s.
5.20.16: Dudley has a strong lower half and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery. He has a short arm action and generates velocity with normal effort. His shoulders are square and level as he strides to a square landing with a fall off finish. His fastball had cut, sitting 74-79, touching 80. Change-up had sink and good arm action at 68. Gradual 12/6 curveball that he slowed his arm on, running 58-61. At the plate, he is strong with a good lower half and above average bat speed. Good approach, uses the whole field. Had an exit velocity of 95 on a single to left-center.
