Gannon has an athletic frame and has added strength since we saw him in 2018. Still plenty of projection to it. In the infield, he is smooth with soft hands and while he played second, could easily play short if needed. Throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a free and easy arm action. Showed good lateral range getting to a few balls in the hole. At the plate, shorter level bat path with some strength and good balance at contact point. Works middle of field and has some gap power present with potential for some more. On the mound, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a free arm action and normal effort. Fastball was 76-78, touched 79 once, pitch has some sink and late run to it. Was around the strike zone with it. Slowed arm a bit on curveball, which had gradual 11/5 break and was 66-68. Climbed his hand a bit higher to get on top of breaking ball, if thrown from natural slot and thrown hard has a chance to be a sharp 10/4 curve. Gannon still has plenty of projection left and remains an interesting young player to follow.

Gannon has a lanky frame with a lot of projection left. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot that drops to a low three-quarters some times. Normal effort, loose arm with a chance to add velocity as he develops. Fastball was 74-77. Slowed his arm a bit to throw his breaking ball and changed the shape on it between 12/6 and 10/4 depending on where he slotted his arm. Pitch ran 63-67.
