3.21.17: Athetic projectable frame. Hits from an athletic set up with a strong base. Fast bat speed at the plate direct to ball with extension through contact. In-game swings shows a barrel that stays in zone. Gap-to-gap ability with power potential. Created some pop during BP with little effort. Played third base in the game, moves well, versatile athlete, quick confident first step, gets to top speed rather quickly and fast on the bases. Shorter arm action with carry on throws. Primary a catcher but was more than capable at third base and with his speed could probably fill an outfield spot as well. 0-for-1 on the day with two HBP’s and a strikeout.

11.2.2016 - Cooper has a strong body with versatility to be at a corner outfield position when he isn’t at his primary position behind the plate.  He is a strong physical hitter at the plate who also runs well for his size.
