6.27.17:  Davis is 6-1 and has a lanky frame, hits from the right side from a closed athletic stance. Toe tap stride, short wrap load, some hip explosion and some balance to his swing. Level line drive swing, good approach working gap to gap, exit velocity was 78. At short, above average hands, plays through ball well, clean exchange. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot, loose arm action, infield velocity was 81. On the mound, has a drop and drive delivery and throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot, long arm action stabbing down, loose, quick arm stroke, some effort to delivery. Shoulders are level and closed, lands square and recoils during his athletic finish. Fastball was 81-84 with downward plane and some late life. Curveball had late gradual 10/4 break, running 67-68, threw it with some armspeed. Change-up had some armspeed and late run, sitting 72-73. 

11.6.16 - Athletic frame at 6-foot, 160-pounds. Ran a 7.64 60-yard dash. Hits from a balanced set up. Strides out to hitting position. Level swing path through contact with average bat speed. Shows some balance and gets his lower half to work. Exit velo of 76mph. active feet in the infield. Clean exchange with short arm action throwing from a high three-quarter slot. Works thru ball well. Sound actions in the outfield. Moves well. Up to 80 mph in the outfield, 78 in the infield...Longer arm action as a pitcher throwing from a high three-quarter slot. Nice temp in delivery. Could get more lower half involvement and drive. Lands square to the plate. Shows some arm speed.  Fastball is straight up to 78mph. Breaking ball has short break with 11/5 shape on the pitch at 68mph. Change shows slight fade on the pitch at 70mph.
