Romano is 6-2 with a very lanky frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, low leg kick stride on line, loads back into a wrap. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Keeps hands inside, level line drive swing path, showed good approach working gap to gap, exit velocity was 81. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a wider base and above average hands. Clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, velocity was 75. On the mound, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, longer free arm action, some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are level and closed, lands square with an athletic finish. Fastball was 72-75, with some sink to it. Curveball had good armspeed and gradual 11/5 break at 66-67. Change-up had good armspeed and was 70-72 with some sink.
