3.19.16: Cook is an athletic infielder with good footwork at shortstop. He has good range and takes good angles to the ball. He has average hands and a good exchange to go with an above average arm. At the plate, Cook hits from the right side from an athletic stance with a leg kick stride and a short load back. He has a good lower half and maintains balance throughout his swing. He works uphill with fast hands and he gets good extension through the baseball. Cook has a pull approach with gap power to his pull side.
