Grohowski has an athletic frame with some strength in the lower half and some projection left. Hinges at the waist to throw from a sidearm slot. Longer loose arm action with some effort to his delivery. Lands on line with a fall off finish and recoil. Some drop and drive in his delivery and he creates natural deception. Fastball was 79-81, touching 82 with heavy armside run that gets some depth as well. Slider was 63-64 with good armspeed and big sharp 10/4 break, real tough pitch and pairs off of his fastball well. Change-up was 72 with good armspeed and heavy fade. Real tough at-bat for righthanded hitters. Threw three innings, struck out 3. Allowed a pair of base hits but kept the ball on the ground.
