Shreyas Parikh: RHP/3B, (2021) out of Mount Mansfield Union, VT. is a 6-foot-2, 205-pound two-way prospect. In the box, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 76 MPH. Parikh hits out of a balanced, athletic stance with relaxed hands. A small leg kick allows Parikh to get stacked and serves as his trigger to begin his swing. The bat whips through the hitting zone on a flat swing plane and gets good extension after contact. In the infield, Parikh was 77 MPH on his throws across the diamond. As he works through the ground ball he shows smooth feet, a fluid exchange, and soft hands. He moves well laterally and finishes through the play well.. On the mound, Parikh uses a simple, controlled delivery. He gets balanced and separates well. The arm works out of a long ¾ arm slot that produces a fastball (80-81MPH) with heavy sinking action. His curveball showed good 12/6 shape (69-70 MPH) and flashed a changeup (67-68 MPH) with fading action. 

6-foot-2, 225-pound, wide, larger, strong athletic frame. A right-handed hitting two-way player, showed very well off the mound. The feel for pitching is advanced, delivery is simple and repeats it without much effort. The hands start higher, drop down with rocker step, raise back up with smooth athletic kick. Loaded on the backside, the direction is inline, strong back half, comes through, uses the entire body to pitch the baseball. The arm action is clean, working nice and smooth, hidden behind the frame. The fastball was clocked at 80 mph, arm side sink, and run, with more in there. Mixed in a slurvey breaking ball at 69 mph. At the plate, even hands and feet, flat setup. The swing is level through the zone, more line drive to pull side. The exit velocity was clocked at 89 mph, shows good bat speed. Defensively, the glove is soft, feet move and work well. The arm action is short and clean across the diamond, clocked at 78 mph. Projects for me off the mound, chance to be ok.

Sixty-Yard Dash: 8.19

6-foot-1,220-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder and pitcher. Ran a 8.7 sixty at the event. The glove is solid at the corner infield spot, throwing 78 mph out of a clean arm slot. The feet need to remain active during the fielding process. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 81 mph. The setup is athletic, shows a great deal of hand movement prior to the swing being produced. The path is long and strong to contact. On the mound, the fastball sat 78-79 mph, minimal arm side run to the pitches. The spin pitch is a work in progress and he showed the makings of a changeup at 70 mph. The delivery is online and the slot is slightly above 3/4. The top half posture changes as he makes his way into foot strike and the tracking of the shoulder needs better direction to the plate. The arm works very well and has quickness to it, if he makes some adjustments you should see a bounce in velocity and command.  He is big, thick and durable in frame.
