7/18/19

Strong build, defined lower-half, premium athleticism in a live frame. 5-foot-11, 190-pound right-handed hitter. Balanced setup, short stride with a leg lift. Long, uphill path through the zone, aggressive swing, elevates the baseball, power potential in swing; tendency to expand the zone, but has an enticing toolset. Strong athlete with plus speed that plays especially well around first, on the turn. Went 2-for-4 with a triple, home run, and five RBIs as the two-hitter against Rockets Baseball. Batted second and played center field for PTA against Naperville Renegades. Showed off his wheels and his gap-to-gap hitting abilities, driving an inside-the-park home run to right-center and a three-run double to the left-center gap. Finished the game 2-for-4 with four RBI and a pair of runs scored.

10/28/18 - 5-foot-11, 190-pound shortstop, physical frame, advanced strength. Advanced foot speed, 6.87 runner in the 60. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, smooth loading action, into short stride, good balance through contact. Compact swing, level path through hitting zone, bat strength present. Gap to gap approach with hard contact, jumps off the bat, 94 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensive actions play athletically through the baseball, hands work out front. Glove pat to exchange, arm will carry, high ¾ slot, loose arm, 83 mph across the diamond.

7/23/18 - 5-foot-10, 185-pound, physically-advanced, right-handed hitting infielder. Ran a 4.43 home-to-first during the workout. At the plate, balanced, wide setup, short stride and stays balanced through contact. Present bat speed, bat strength, pull approach with slight lift in swing; 85 mph exit velocity from a tee. On the infield, stays low on the move, reliable hands, packs on exchange. Throws from a ¾ to high ¾ slot, accurate throws, clocked at 80 mph across the diamond.

3/11/18 - 5-foot-10, 185-pound, right-handed hitting infielder, strong, athletic build, toolsy prospect. 6.94 runner in the 60. At the plate, balanced stance, open setup, smooth back load, leg kick trigger. Present lower half strength, short bat path, natural uphill lift, gap to gap approach, flashed pull side power. Consistent hard contact with above average bat speed, exit velocity topped 87 mph from a tee. Defensively, works low to the ground, agile footwork, clean exchange, plays through. Short, loose arm action, high ¾ slot, throws topped 82 mph across with accuracy.

4/26/17 - 5-foot-10, 180-pound, strong, athletic middle infielder. Defensively, short, loose arm action, high ¾ arm slot, 78 mph across the infield. Athletically plays through the ball with soft hands, maintains body control. Offensively, open setup, leg kick timing-trigger, lower half works, maintains good balance through swing. Gap-to-gap hitter with power, fluid rhythm, 85 mph exit velocity off a tee. Ran a 7.05 60.
