Milner emerged as an uncommitted follow name in the Eau Claire region following his Thursday night start at our PBR Badger State Battle. The ace of the Huskies’ staff for a large majority of the spring season, Milner is a 6-foot-4, 165-pound athlete with thin levers that are plenty capable of filling out as he continues to physically mature. He consistently lived inside the zone, and on the corners, with a 78-81 mph fastball. The separator for Milner is his advanced feel to spin a true swing-and-miss breaking ball, landing it for strikes and burying it under barrels at 63-65 mph, averaging 2,400+ RPM.

6-foot-4 ,165 pounds; tall, lanky lefty who has landed on the prospect radar after pitching a grade level up for the Eau Claire A’s in Mauston. Loose, clean, easy arm action from a ¾ slot, fastball lived in upper-70s throughout, mostly 78-79 mph. Showed a raw but projectable 1/7 breaking ball at 64-66 mph. One of the prospects who made a name for himself at Badger State, and one we’re looking forward to another look as he begins to tack on muscle to his thin, tall frame.
