A strong/physical 6-foot-1, 195-pound right-handed hitter who makes loud impact inside the box. We’ve seen it in-game and in showcase settings, and it was more of the same on Sunday. He reached a 96.2 mph max exit speed, and hit one ball an estimated 368 feet, per TrackMan. Honkamp’s arm strength translates to his defense, as he recorded a 90 mph high from the outfield and threw a strike across the diamond at 88, too.
6-foot, 180 pounds; physical, athletic look. Right-handed bat is the carrying tool here, as he possesses both a feel to hit as well as power potential. He went 6-for-7 on Sunday with three doubles. He has big strength in his levers that he uses well in the box, and it’s a matter of time and development until we see him turn those doubles into home runs.

Body: 5-foot-9, 155-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Squared setup, slight leg lift stride, hands load back. Middle of the field, line drive approach, level path.

Defense: Feet work fluidly, squares the ball up; exchanges can get a little long, glove pack.
