INF/RHP Greyson Zach (Pewaukee, 2025) was another member of Team Wisconsin at the Future Games and over this weekend, provided our staff with the first look at him since. Despite his physical 6-foot-3, 210-pounds, Zach is an impressive athlete as he is a 6.84 runner in the 60. At the plate, he swings a strong-right handed bat that is quick and direct to the ball. In his first game of the day, Zach’s power potential was on full display as he blasted a walk-off homerun over the center field wall to get GRB-STiKS off to a 1-0 start.

RHP/INF Greyson Zach (Pewaukee, 2025) was another two-way athlete who put in quality time for Team Wisconsin this past week, especially on the mound. Standing at a physical 6-foot-3, 205-pounds, Zach continues to add onto his frame as he progresses through his prep career. That strength welcomed a velocity bump, starting in the winter where he reached 90 mph from the mound. He has maintained that through the spring and summer, and showed it off on the national stage this past week. His fastball maxed out at 89.8 mph with life, sitting 84-88 mph throughout. He was able to pair his out-pitch with a curveball and changeup, as each pitch complements the fastball in a positive manner. Zach’s first outing of work illustrated that sequence, where the right-hander earned a strikeout and induced weak contact to shut down his opponents. What his pitching doesn’t necessarily speak to is the athleticism that Zach brings to the table, as the prospect ran a 6.84-second 60-yard dash to begin his workout day. At the plate, an easy swing allows Zach to utilize his natural strength to drive the baseball consistently; he finished with one hit in two at-bats over the course of the weekend, taking an upper-80s arm back up-the-middle for a base hit in Game Two of live action. After a strong showing on both ends of the diamond, Zach inserts himself as a name-to-know in Wisconsin’s 2025 class. 

PBR Future Games: INF/RHP Greyson Zach (Pewaukee, 2025) is another noteworthy two-way prospect who performed at a high level on Wednesday, especially in the batter’s box. Zach, standing at a physical 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame, utilized his natural strength to generate bat speed and barrels, which then resulted in a strong BP session. The 2025 prospect maxed out at 93.9 mph from the plate, showcasing a calm and quiet approach, flashing aggressiveness on pitches driven to the pull-side. The standout also clocked in at 6.84 seconds during his 60-yard dash, adding onto the numerous athletes from the Badger State to run a sub-seven second 60-yard dash in Georgia. Zach will see time on the mound in the round-robin action too, as arguably his strongest asset will be on display throughout the weekend.

RHP/INF Greyson Zach (Pewaukee, 2025) is the No. 2-ranked player in the state’s sophomore class, and possibly its most athletic. Zach gave our staff another impressive look this past Saturday in Waukesha. Listed at an athletic 6-foot-3, 205 pounds with strength throughout, he began the day by running a 6.93 in the 60-yard dash, an exceptional time for someone his size and age. He followed this up with an impressive bullpen where we saw his fastball hit an event-high 89.8 mph max. His fastball played with slight arm-side action and occasional sink. His curveball, 69-70 mph, varied between an 11/5 and 12/6 plane. And Zach rounded out his arsenal with a changeup that cuts from slight deceleration. Defensively, he showed clean and soft hands with athletic movements on the infield, paired with a quick arm that reached a high of 90 mph across, which was the highest of the event. In batting practice, Zach’s strength shows best in the batter’s box where balls jump from his right-handed barrel, from a middle to pull-side approach. He produces line-drive type of contact that averaged an exit speed of 91.8 mph, the second highest of the event, and a 95.7 max, also one of the highest of the day.

Using a drop-and-drive type delivery, Zach’s hardest fastball during his ‘pen registered on the Trackman at 84.1 mph, which was just a tick slower than the event leader. As for his offspeed offerings, Zach showed more feel for fading changeup that was thrown all around the zone for strikes. As for his breaking ball, it seems like he is still developing consistency but it did flash some sharp 11/5 action low in the zone. Altogether, the recent Junior Future Games participant has built on his already impressive track record and is a name to follow as he progresses through high school.

Zach impressed our staff previously, first at a Milwaukee-area showcase in May, and then again at our 14U tournament at The Rock Complex in Franklin, Wis. On both occasions, it was clear that Zach offers next-level athleticism as a strong 6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect who can also run, clocking advanced 60-yard dash times for both his age and size (measured at 7.19 last week). During Wednesday’s workout at the Junior Future Games, Zach showed off his natural bat strength from the right side, with a 92.1 mph max exit speed. In gameplay, Zach flashed advanced offensive traits like pitch recognition, which allowed him to barrel quality pitches to his opposite field or up the middle for hits, and he used his speed to steal a handful of bases from there. He also hopped on the mound in relief against Team West Virginia on Saturday afternoon, sitting 77-79 mph and reaching back for an 80 high on his final pitch of the game to secure a win for Team Wisconsin.
