7/24/18 - McHenry County JC commit. 5-foot-10, 180-pound catcher, Defensively arm action is short and over the top, 76 mph out of the crouch, played accurate. 2.04-2.12 pop times, short feet out of the crouch, gets rid of it. Right-handed hitter, wide setup, short stride, average balance. Path is level, flat through contact, 83 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.41 runner in the 60.
2/17/18 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound two-way player, carries some strength. Profiles best behind the plate, 2.11-2.26 pop times, exchange is clean, deliberate at times. Arm action is short and over the top, advance arm strength, carries to target, 79 mph. On the infield arm plays similar, 83 mph across. Right-handed hitter, slightly open setup, arm bar load, short stride. Path has length above average bat speed. Contact was mostly on a line, pull side tendency, occasional hard contact. 90 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.39 runner in the 60. On the mound delivery is simple and direct. Long high ¾ slot. Fastball has slight arm side run, 79-80 mph, touched 82 mph. Curveball played 68-71 mph, 11/5 shape. Changeup fades, 76-78 mph.
10/28/17 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Quick footwork and exchange. Gains ground towards second base. Popped 2.11-2.26 and threw 76 mph out of the crouch, accurate throws with carry. At the plate hits from a balanced, slightly open setup. Arm bar load with a short stride and average balance. Gap to gap hitter with a short, level swing path and fluid rhythm. 86 mph exit velocity from tee. Ran the 60 at 7.58.
2/18/17 - 5-foot-9, 155-pound catcher. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, leg kick stride, linear lower half. Short steep path, uphill through finish. 76 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm action is short and over the top, 70 mph out of the crouch. 2.25-2.36 pop times. 7.72 runner in the 60. Also took drills in the infield throwing 74 mph across the diamond.
