5/22/15 - 6-foot-6, 235-pound right-handed pitcher with an XL frame. Currently ranked No. 14 in the Wisconsin Class of 2015. Michigan commit. Over the top arm angle with a long, stiff arm action in back. Tall at balance point, drop and drive arm heavy delivery. Fastball sat 85-87 mph from the windup, 83-85 touched an 87 from the stretch with two strikes. Curveball showed sweeping action at 73-75 mph.

6/19/14 - Extra large frame, 6-foot-6, 235-pound right-handed pitcher, physically mature, sturdy build. Delivery has drop and drive tendencies, works online with open toe landing, some effort. Arm action is short all around, deceptive arm angle, over the top slot, hides ball well. Fastball is mostly straight with heavy feel, finishes through the zone, 83-85 mph, touched 87 mph. Curveball worked on 12/6 plane, 72-74 mph showed feel and more confidence. Power changeup with sink, fastball arm speed, showed action, 76-78 mph. Bredeson has a big sturdy frame that should bode well for durability going forward, his deceptive arm action is a unique quality that helps his fastball play up and tough for hitters to recognize.
3/16/14 - 6-foot-6, 235-pound, strong framed pitcher with a four pitch mix. Has a tall and fall delivery with choppy rhythm, clean lines, and above average effort. Arm works short and quick from over the top. Fastball worked downhill for strikes. Was 83-86 mph with arm side run and heavy finish. Throws a slider with strong shape and bite, 71 mph. Had feel for the changeup, throwing it with fastball arm speed, 75-77 mph with slight sinking action. Curveball was 68-69 mph with 11/5 shape.

8/4/13 - Bredeson was one of the biggest surprises of the Midwest Future Games. We had previously seen Bredeson at the Midwest Future Game Tryout back in late June where he stood out right from the get go standing 6-foot-5, 215-pounds. At that time Bredeson showed an 83 mph fastball that had uncanny deception, unable to pick it up until about half way to the plate, and a heavy feel that worked down in the zone. It was obvious at the time that Bredeson’s big frame could produce more velocity, add that to his already deceptive and heavy action and you have the makings of something special. Fast forward six weeks to the Midwest Future Games and Bredeson came out hot and heavy with his fastball now at 86-87 mph, although giving up two runs no one was able to get the ball in the air as Bredeson gave up back to back seeing eye singles. On day two Bredeson backed it up with another 85-86 mph fastball performance and a harder curveball at 71 mph, this time recording the save and not allowing a run. Bredeson is one of the more interesting prospects in the class as he brings unteachable assets to the table with his size and deceptive fastball.
6/26/13 - The physically advanced 6-foot-5, 215-pound right handed pitcher impressed in his bullpen session. Bredeson has some rhythm in his tall-and-fall delivery – throws with deception to the plate, hiding the ball well from short, over the top arm action. His fastball sat 81-83 mph consistently, works on a downhill plane, flashes heavy feel. Curveball worked 67-70 mph on 12/6 plane, flashed bite, has swing and miss potential. His slider sits 69-70 mph, lacks identification. Changeup ranges 73-77 mph, near fastball arm action, missing low. Bredeson’s physicality is easy to see, his deceptive release point and 12/6 breaking ball have high level upside. Bredeson was also selected for the Midwest Future Games.
