Hits from an open stance, short stride, loose swing, short level bat path, high finish, occasional extension, 84 mph exit velocity off the tee. Defensively, impressed with arm strength behind the plate, 74 mph from the crouch, from short, over-the-top arm slot, with carry. Defensively looks to be one of the top catch and throw prospects in the 2017 class. Easy actions, loose over the top slot, arm plays well, 74 mph out of the crouch, accurate arm. Posted 2.05-2.12 pop times. Footwork is athletic and directional, 7.77 runner in the 60. High follow prospect in the 2017 class.

2/9/14 - Long frame, high projection, athletic make up, 6-foot-2, 185-pound catcher. High level Class of 2017 prospect. Offensively hits from a balanced setup, short stride, excellent setup. Loose hands, generates bat speed with hands, highly athletic. Path is short, stays through the baseball with extension, rhythmic hitter. 85 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively has a short loose arm action, quick arm, over the top slot, some accuracy. Posted pop times at 2.15-2.19 with a 79 mph arm from the crouch. Advanced arm strength, transfer will improve, quiet receiver. 4.68 runner down the line.
