Illinois State commit. Ranked No. 20 in Wisconsin’s 2021 class. 5-foot-10, 160-pound left handed hitting first baseman. Hit leadoff and played first base against Great Lakes. Blount sets up in an open stance, leg kick stride with smooth loading actions. has an advanced approach at the plate, consistently working the count. Reached base in all four plate appearances. Showcased the ability to drive the baseball to all fields, including a line drive double down the left field line that drove in three runs and gave ISA the lead. Followed that up with a hard hit ground ball up the middle for a base hit. Finished the game 2-for-2 with a pair of walks, a pair of runs scored, and three RBI.

2/17/18 - 5-foot-11, 185-pound, physically strong two-way player. Defensively, loose arm action, high ¾ arm slot, fluid footwork, clean on exchanges, plays through the ball, 76 mph from the outfield. Offensively, tall, open setup, leg kick timing trigger. Power hitter, long, uphill barrel path, present bat speed, 89 mph exit velocity off a tee. Ran a 6.92 laser-timed 60. On the mound, long arm action, high ¾ arm slot, tall and fall delivery works on-line, lands square, finishes athletically. Fastball, slight run and sink, 67-72. Slider, 2/8 shape, gradual break, 60-64. Changeup, fade action, 63-64.

4/2/17 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound, athletic, strong-frame, left-handed pitcher and outfielder. Offensively, open setup, leg kick timing-trigger, incorporates lower half, maintains balance. Slightly uphill barrel path, swings aggressively, makes hard contact, 93 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.01 60. Defensively, long, loose arm action, high ¾ slot, plays through the ball with carry, 78 mph from the outfield. On the mound, over-the-top slot, quick arm action. Tall and fall delivery, smooth rhythm, works on-line, lands square, finishes athletically. Fastball sat 69-71 mph, topped out at 74 mph. Slider, sweep action, 64-67 mph. Changeup, sinking action, kept down in the zone for strikes, 64-64 mph.

4/20/16 - 5-foot-10, 155-pound left-handed two-way player. Offensively hits from the left side, balanced stance, short stride, lower half works, good balance. Showed looseness in his swing, above average bat speed for his age, level path, line drive type hitter. ­­­83 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.39 runner. Defensively showed feel around the bag at first base, natural actions, good hands, played the position with ease. Arm action is short from a high ¾ slot, 62 mph across. On the mound arm played similarly, delivery worked in line. Fastball ranged 65-69 mph, slight arm side action, tendency to get underneath and occasionally missed up. Curveball has 1/7 action, showed good feel for his age, 52-56 mph. Changeup showed sink and fade, controlled, 56-60 mph.
