6.21.16 - Kent State recruit. 6-foot-2, 175-pound frame, lanky-athletic build, longer limbs. Right-handed hitting outfielder, solid tools across the board with athletic tendencies and upside. Hits from balanced setup, slightly open, aggressive lower half, maintains balance throughout. Bat speed present, some length in swing, stays through ball well with extension, gap power with potential for more as he physically develops. Registered 88 mph exit velocity with wood and ran a 7.00 laser-timed 60. Defensively, moves well in outfield, aggressive routes, plays through ball well, throws have carry at 89 mph. 

5/2/16 - Kent State commit. 6-foot-2, 175-pound right-handed hitting RHP/OF with a lanky, athletic frame. Well know for his work in the outfield and at the plate. Got the start on the mound for Indian Trail. Works from a ¾ arm angle with a long arm action. Uptempo drop and drive delivery. Challenges hitters with his fastball. Fastball sat 82-84 topping out at 85 mph. Slider has short break with tight rotation at 73-74 mph, left up in the zone. Changeup has arm side run at 73-74 mph. At the plate went 1-2 with a double and two walks. 4.26 runner down the line.

3/13/16 - Kent State commit. 6-foot-2, 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder with a lanky, athletic frame. Offensively hits from a balanced setup with an arm bar load. Short stride with explosion in the lower half. Gap to gap hitter with fluid rhythm and a fast bat. Showed strength thru contact with 88 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.05. Defensively has a short arm action from a high ¾ arm slot. Accurate throws with carry throwing an event best 91 mph from the outfield. Plays thru the ball with athletic actions and quick, fluid footwork.
11.5.15 - Verbally commits to Kent State
9.5.15 - 6-foot-1, 168-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder with a wiry, athletic frame. Impresses the most at the plate with consistent hard contact and feel for the barrel. Tripled into the gap in left-centerfield, 4.62 on the turn. Tall, balanced setup, with a long stride, shows strength thru contact.
7/31/15 - Elsen came into the Future Games swinging a hot bat from the high school and summer season, and he stayed hot in Indy. The 6-foot-1, 168-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder has wiry strength that translates at the plate. Shows strength thru contact with 92 mph exit velocity from a tee. Offensively hits from a tall, balanced setup. Short, leg lift stride. Pull hitter with deceptive power at the plate. Despite only going 1-7 at the plate in games, showed great feel for the barrel with multiple hard hit outs. Defensively has a long arm action from a high ¾ arm slot. Plays thru the ball with fluid footwork. Long release with accurate throws, threw 85 mph from the outfield. Solid runner running the 60 at 7.07.
7/12/15 - Lean, loose athletic frame, projectable build. Bat really projects shows easy pop to all fields. Drove a ball deep to right field on a flyout and homered to left center. Path is short to the baseball, gets through the ball, hands work well.

7/12/15 - 6-foot-1, 169-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder with a small, athletic frame, and wiry strength. Currently ranked No. 47 in the Wisconsin Class of 2017. Over the last couple months has shown power beyond his size. Offensively hits from a balanced relaxed setup. Confident approach at the plate. Short path to the ball with quick hands, and good feel for the barrel.


6/21/15 - 6-foot-1, 170-pound, right-handed hitter, lanky athletic frame, projects well. Showed good bat speed on a double to left, has pop in bat, strong hitter. Ran a 4.57 on a 4-3 groundout. Showed good range in the outfield, ability to go back on the baseball away from glove side, plays in stride. 

3/15/15- 6-foot-1, 168-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder with a lanky athletic frame. In the field has a short arm action from an over the top arm slot. Some accuracy with average arm strength. Plays thru the ball with athletic actions. Threw 85 mph from the outfield. At the plate hits from an open stance with a short stride and average balance. Showed a fast bat with an uphill swing path. Loud, hard contact. Showed strength thru contact with 91 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.30.
6/25/14 - Thin build, 6-foot, 135-pound left-handed two-way player. On the mound arm works from a high ¾ slot, long loose arm action. Fastball showed control, slight sink, 71-73 mph, touched 74 mph. Curveball flashed sweeping action, 61-62 mph. Changeup thrown near fastball arm speed, 63-64 mph, mostly down. Offensively hits from the right side, closed stance, short leg kick trigger. Level bat path, 83 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively plays through the baseball in the outfield, arm action is long, high ¾ slot, showed accuracy out of a crowhop, 72 mph.
8/6/13 - 5-foot-11, 132-pound outfielder, underdeveloped build, room to fill out. Offensively hit from a wider, slightly closed stance, drops hands at load, leg kick trigger. Showed signs of barrel awareness, long bat path, slightly uphill. 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively played through the baseball with a crowhop, mechanically sound approach, 67 mph arm strength from the outfield.
