Presenting himself at a strong 5-foot-10, 180-pound frame, C Peter Visconti II (Kenosha St. Joseph, 2025) showed well throughout his performances down in Georgia this past week, establishing himself as one of the top catchers in Wisconsin’s 2025 class. Speed was a separator for Visconti during the showcase and gameplay portion of the event, as he began his event with a 7.13-second 60-yard dash. That translated to live action, where Visconti scored every time he reached base. This was highlighted by a high IQ play on his end, where he stole home on a double steal after watching a throw go all the way through to second base, reflecting his true athleticism. The athleticism plays behind the dish as well, where Visconti turned in a pop time range of 1.93-2.11 seconds, paired with a velocity of 77 mph by the end of his session. In the right-handed batter’s box, Visconti’s compact swing reached a max EV of 94 mph, illustrating his natural power at the plate. His ability to dive in and elevate the baseball will be a skill that continues to carry with him, along with his defensive prowess. A quality showing in Georgia further solidified Visconti as an intriguing prospect to monitor in the next couple of months, as he currently sits as Wisconsin’s No. 9 ranked prospect in the 2025 class.

PBR Future Games: After standing out during showcase workouts and in multiple looks throughout the spring and the summer, C Peter Visconti II (Kenosha St. Joseph, 2025) made some noise during the workout portion of the Future Games on Wednesday, especially on the defensive end. Similar to Verhage, the 5-foot-10, 180-pound athlete reached 77 mph from the crouch, finishing with a pop time range of 1.93-2.11 seconds. His work behind the dish was notable, and played into his BP session as well. The quick-twitch and strength that Visconti features was on display while batting, as his swing presents power to the pull-side on a consistent basis, a trait repeated multiple times during the spring and in tournaments over the course of the summer. Just over a month ago, Visconti maxed out at 100.3 mph off of the bat, and demonstrated those same traits in Georgia, despite having slightly lower numbers. His power continued to play though, preparing himself for a strong weekend at the largest uncommitted event of the year.

The catcher had a quality day at the plate in a run-rule victory, as he doubled down the left field line to drive in multiple runners, establishing himself as a middle-of-the-order bat for Top Tier North throughout the entirety of the weekend. Has a quick barrel and quality feel for the pull-side, as he will represent Team Wisconsin at the 2023 PBR Future Games in just under a week.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound right-handed hitter displayed the quickest bat of the event when it comes to bat speed; 74.8 mph average. Visconti stays short and compact to the baseball with a polished whole field approach. He also produced the second highest max exit velocity at the event 100.3 mph and a max distance of 362 feet. Behind the plate, he is athletic out of the crouch with a quick arm and topped at 78 mph with a low pop time of 2.03. He is also a 7.15 runner in the 60. One of the top uncommitted 2025 position players in Wisconsin.

Visconti took arguably his best round of defense we have seen to date, turning in a new low pop-time of 1.99 seconds and increasing his velocity to 76 mph.

Visconti produced at the plate over his three game sample, including blasting a no-doubt home run over the left field fence. He’s quiet at the plate with a short, strong swing from the right side that regularly produces quality contact. Visconti’s quick to release behind the plate, working swiftly from the crouch and popping a 2.12 in game. He was certainly one of the event’s top prospects in the 2025 class.

Visconti has been on our radar for some time now, and he clearly wields one of the most polished bats in the state’s 2025 class. He has a comfortable, relaxed look in the box and is consistently on time and ultra-quiet while demonstrating effortless barrel feel packed with strength through impact. The ball jumps off Visconti’s bat and he worked to both gaps throughout his round. Visconti recorded a peak exit velocity of 97.3 mph, average of 90.8, and his furthest batted ball traveled an event-high 362 feet (289 on average; second highest of the event). Visconti also shows versatility defensively with the potential to stick behind the plate, while athletic enough to fit somewhere on the infield; a 7.18 runner.

5-foot-9, 168-pound right handed hitting catcher. Impressed on both sides of the ball. He looked the part as a confident receiver with sound blocking skills defensively. At the plate, his swing is compact and strong, lifting a long home run over the tall Fenway replica fence in left field during the PBR at The Rock Championships. Showed off gap-to-gap power against STiKS Black, hitting an inside-the-park home run to left-center field and a bases clearing triple to right-center field. Finished that game 2-for-3 with 5 RBI.
