Body: 6-2, 162-pounds. Lanky, athletic frame with room for added physical maturity.
Defense: 2.18-2.36 pop times. Worked out at catcher and in the outfield. Upright posture at gather from the crouch, feet shuffle in line to the bag, some length to release. Patient to the baseball in the outfield, glove works out front, some pack to release.
Arm: RH. C - 74 mph. OF - 85 mph. Compact arm action, winds up to release from an over-the-top arm slot.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, open base, active pre-pitch rhythm, hands load back with a bat tip trigger, strides to even. Loose hands with quick-twitch attached, averaged 24.40 mph of hand speed per Blast Motion. Long bat path, occasional lift, works gap-to-gap with a pull-side tendency.
Power: Present wiry strength with upside for added power. Recorded a max exit speed of 93.88 mph with a max fly ball distance of 347 feet in BP, per TrackMan.
Run: 4.29 runner from home to first.
6-foot-2, 155 pounds; high-waisted, long-levered catcher. Lanky catcher with unique profile; hits leadoff for Brew State’s 16U team. Light on his feet, especially for his size, and he recorded three total hits Saturday. His size and speed (ran a 7.06 at our Underclass Trials event in June) make him a projectable prospect to know, as he’ll be able to add strength to his right-handed bat as he grows and develops.

Hit: RH. Balanced/athletic setup, wide base. Pre-pitch rhythm. Loads back and down on back foot, arm slightly bars in load. Bat path is long and level; demonstrated barrel feel in line-drive approach.
Power: 83 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. C - 68 mph. Short throws from an over-the-top slot. Shows accuracy to the bag.
Defense: 2.28-2.40 pop times. Mobility and athleticism in reception and on block. Moves well in taller stature.
Run: 7.06 runner in the 60. Athletic gait; long strides.
