8/5/18 (Junior Future Games) - 5-foot-8, 135-pound outfielder. Plus runner, ran a 6.68 in the workout day. Uses speed well on the bases, runs at will, had an inside the park homerun in game. Raw, quick twitch tool set, bat speed present.
7/29/18 - He showed the talent to play up at the 16U level. Plus runner, gets down the line in a hurry, will put pressure on the defense. Ultimately best position will likely be centerfield. Right-handed hitter, above-average bat speed, gap-to-gap approach, hard contact off bat. Back-to-back triples in game two on Day 2. Sweet will be a Junior Future Game participant next week.
6/22/18 - Compact, athletic frame, strong build for age. Hit in the middle of the order for the 14U champions all weekend at the Junior Future Series. Right-handed hitter, balanced and smooth setup, loads back, short path to the ball. Contact was regularly hard, gap-to-gap, hit a home run over the tall left field fence. Found the barrel consistently. Plus runner for his age.
3/20/18 - 5-foot-9, 135-pound infielder. Right-handed hitter, slight open stance, loads hands back, quick leg kick trigger, average balance. Aggressive swing, makes hard contact, path is level throughout, 78 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm is short and over the top, strong arm, 74 mph across the diamond. Plays aggressively to the baseball, advanced runner for age, 7.13 in the 60.
