1/20/19 - 5-foot-9, 165-pound left-handed hitter starts with a slightly-open stance and utilizes a toe-tap stride. Strong lower half coupled with good hip/hand connection leads to consistent, solid contact and a 73 mph bat exit velocity. Registered a 4.58 home-to-first time. Showcased advanced blocking ability behind the plate as well as good footwork notching pop times of 2.06-2.18 on 71 mph throws out of the crouch.

1/25/18 Offensively, initiates from slightly open with knee to knee leg kick and stride to neutral. Early hand leak reduced separation. Swing is short with hands showing developing quickness. There is balance and rhythm with solid leverage to and extension through contact. A 72 mph bat exit velocity was recorded.

Defensively, considerable athleticism is present with quick feet and solid  lateral agility demonstrated. Hands are soft, quiet and confident in receiving and framing. Transfer is long while throwing motion is short.

7/26/17 5-foot-8, 145-pound left-handed hitter initiates swing from slightly open setup with short knee-to-knee stride to neutral. Head is still and there is good balance and rhythm to his swing.  Back elbow gets very high in load creating some length to swing and intermittent difficulty being on time.  Hands work well to baseball and there is solid weight shift and hip turn with recorded 73 mph bat exit velocity. Mechanics project to progressive improvement in bat speed in association with imminent strength gains.

Defensively, a soft glove hand with good framing skills was noted.  Blocking technique and lateral movement demonstrated significant athleticism.  Pop times were limited by a somewhat long transfer and 65 mph arm strength.  Again marked improvements are likely with physical maturation.
