Bell had an all around solid event. Started off running a 7.06 - sixty, which was tied for 9th at the event. Defensively, feet play around the ball. Does a ok job of getting his momentum going towards his target. Displayed an impressive 87 mph arm across the diamond, 2nd best for the event. Offensively, starts in a spread stance and into a slight lift and stride. Registered a 86 mph exit velo during live BP. On the mound, Bell has developed himself into a high follow in the class. His FB sat 83-85, T86 with arm side run. Off speed pitches are developing, but have shown real upside. Overall, Bell is a player you will be hearing more about this high school & summer season
5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed hitter starts from an open stance and utilizes a leg-lift stride to initiate his swing. Showcased a solid hip turn and hands that work well through contact. Had one of the louder rounds on the day during bp. Registered a bat exit velocity of 76 mph and ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. Displayed fundamentally sound defensive actions with developing 77 mph arm strength across the diamond. Athletic frame has plenty of room to add strength in the coming years. Definite follow in this class as he matures as a player.
