8/9/15 McCoy sat 72-74 from a high 3/4 arm slot during three innings of work. The lefty allowed one run on five hits keeping hitters off balance with a 65 mph curveball with 1/7 rotation. McCoy displayed good balance throughout his repeatable delivery and the potential for velocity gains as his 6-foot, 175-pound frame continues to mature.
8/10/14 McCoy is a 6-foot, 160-pound lefty that sat 72-73 from a high 3/4 arm slot during three innings of work. The junior allowed two runs on seven hits while working out of two jams by mixing in a 63 mph curveball with 1/7 rotation. McCoy also showcased a 74 mph arm from the outfield and a 68 mph bat exit velocity during the course of the two day event.
