The 5-foot-8, 140-pound freshmen turned a few heads at this event with his 78 mph fastball. He works down in the zone and has good command of all three pitches. Time and growth will help him continue to develop his arm. His curve sat at 57-58 mph with goo 11/5 break late in the zone. He rounds out his pitches with a 66 mph change that showed some sink. At the plate he stands upright with a soft load. Good weight transfer at contact produced a 73 mph exit velocity. In the field he shows good feet and soft hands, he gets the ball into the throwing window quickly and has a 74 mph arm velocity. He ran an 8.22 60-yard dash.
