A 5-foot-11, 155-pound right-hand hitting MIF who ran a 7.3 60.  In the field he looks very comfortable at both SS and 2B, he moves well in both directions and always gets himself square on his throws.  He has a 68 MPH arm velocity at this event.  At the plate he starts with a narrow stance.  He has a long stride and hands drop slightly on his load.  He shows good weight transfer and hits off a firm front side.  He had a 76 MPH exit velocity with good bat control to the right center gap.

5-foot-11, 155 pounds. Bats and throws right. Lanting is a hard working shortstop with hustle. At the plate has a loose, balanced stance at the plate. Uses a toe-tap for stride and has a level swing through the zone that produces lines drives through the infield gap to gap. Had a 74 mph exit velocity off the tee. Has a tendency to go around the baseball with swing at times, and not keep hands inside. Has good extension through swing. Defensively showed good range to both sides. Has good fundamentals and comes through the ball well. Quick release from ss and was 70 mph across the diamond with accuracy. Ran a 7.63 60.
