7/12/16
5-foot-7, 155-pound, solid smaller athletic frame, hands and forearms have some strength. A slick fielding middle guy, who can play both spots on the left side as well as second base. The hands work out front, with a quick transfer and no wasted movement.  The arm is short and quick, keeps his feet moving through transfer to release. Clocked at 82 mph across the diamond, ball comes out of his hand with easy effort. The footwork around the bag is good, with quick feeds and turns. Offensively, hits from the right side, the stance is simple and quiet. The lower half is slightly wider than shoulder width and he sits in a small crouch. The hands are loose above the back shoulder, gets the hands and weight back into a good hitting position and has a small leg kick for timing. The swing path is flat through the zone and finishes with two hands. The tee exit velocity was 84 mph, has pop in his hands. Times down the line were 4.6, plays faster than that. Plays the game hard and gets after it.

3/1/16
5-foot-7, 155-pound solid athletic frame, lower half is strong, has room to fill out. A right-handed arm, the delivery is simple and repeatable, comes at you from a high-¾ slot. The leg raise is easy, direction is inline and works downhill. Pound the fastball ball to both sides, locates the four-seamer well to glove side. Fastball sat at 80-81 mph. Throws a slider and curveball, slider was 68-70 mph, with diagonal break. The curveball was 65-66 mph, proper spin and was able to throw it for strikes. The slider is a better pitch. The changeup was 69 mph, with plus feel, sold it well with good arm speed. Times to the plate were 1.56. Can really pick it up the middle, is a solid two-way guy.

A right-handed hitting middle infielder who had an impressive workout at the event. The hands are soft and fields the ball out front in good position, the transfer is quick and feet move well to target. The arm strength was 80 across the diamond, gets rid of it quick and showed some carry to it. Started a double play in the game, which was impressive.  At the plate hits from the right side. The stance is balanced and a bit wider, picks hit foot up and puts it down for his timing.  The hands are set right above shoulder and close to the body. The path is flat through the zone finishes with two hands. The swing short, with some bat speed, tends to get rotational at the end. The tee exit velocity was 77 and ran a 4.63. Can really pick it, may have to move to the other side of second as he moves to the next level, definite follow for me.
