5-foot-10, 170-pound, right-handed hitting catcher, has an athletic build with room to put weight and strength on. Showed well behind the plate, very flexible, which gives him the ability to move freely and quick behind the dish. Arm strength was 76 and pop times were 2.08-2.16, throws were on the bag, for the most part. Feet are quick, does a good job replacing feet, with not much wasted movements. Was a vocal leader, worked well with the pitchers. At the plate, hits from a slightly open stance with a high elbow, trigger has some wrap to it, so the swing’s a bit long, tee exit velocity was 80. Runs ok for a catcher, time from home to first was 4.58. Looks to be a solid catch and throw guy.
