6-foot-1, 165-pound right- handed hitting catcher. Threw 67 mph from behind the dish in the defensive portion of the workout. Pop time of 2.2 at the event, as improving the foot work during the transfer will help the time. Stretching out with a long toss program will help him build arm strength as well. The receiving is a work in progress, the softening of the glove will come in time. Securing the catch and framing will need to be improved, I suggest time catching a pitching machine to improve the receiving portion of your craft. Ran a 4.8 down the line on his dig to first. Offensively, 83 mph tee exit velocity. Starts with his feet spread out and the bottom half is under control throughout the swing. Small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. Swing is long and free, 1-hand finish after contact.
